When your car's A/C isn't blowing as cold as it once was, there's a strong chance your system is just low on refrigerant. Just like in your refrigerator or your home A/C, the system is a closed loop that relies on constant compression and expansion (or condensation and evaporation) of refrigerant to provide cooling. Even a late model vehicle can lose as much as 5% - 10% of its refrigerant in the off-months, and a system that's low on refrigerant simply will not perform well.
